Brunch in San Francisco

I got to spend the past weekend up in San Francisco for my baby shower! It’s such a beautiful city with sweeping views in every direction. I grew up just 17 miles south of the city in San Mateo and visit as often as I can. There’s something about the crisp northern California air that I just love, (not to mention all the beautiful greenery that I miss out on living in Southern California, not that I’m complaining).

Saturday morning I drove up to the city to meet with my girlfriends who live in beautiful apartments in Lower Pac Heights/ Cow Hollow area. Their location is so amazing, I love shopping all along Union Street! Our first stop was the Wrecking Ball Cafe for cappuccino’s followed by brunch at Belga where I got Egg’s Benedict, Yum!

Walking around San Francisco usually means you have to ditch the high heels for flats so you can make it up and down those crazy steep hills, however I found the perfect pair of daytime sandals that are so comfortable and cute, I can wear them all day long. I got these Prada crisscross platformed sandal in dark blue suede and I am seriously considering getting them in nude as well. They are an investment piece, but one you will wear over and over again! I wear them with Jeans, skirts & dresses, the possibilities are endless.

Paired with a gray ruched body con dress by Leith, a joe’s jean jacket and a vintage piece of jewelry I found at a second hand shop, I was ready for the day!

Loved this post! My husband and I spent the 4th of July weekend in San Fran this summer and I fell in love. We had brunch at a little spot called Rose’s and it was so good and such an adorable cafe! I hope we can make another trip to San Fran (and hopefully Napa, too) sometime soon! xx, E
