San Francisco in Stripes & Cropped Blazer

So I obviously am obsessed with dresses, but they are just so easy to throw on and look totally put together without trying! I found this black and white striped dress at Max & Co when they were having a huge sale. I was so excited because I’ve been looking for a midi length dress, which can be tough when you are 5’2″. I love the square neckline and the ruched waist, it adds a little something special to a more conservative dress. It’s the perfect transitional dress that you can wear straight from the office to happy hour.

I wore this dress out with my girlfriends during the day in San Francisco, so I wanted to go for a more casual look by pairing it with a black cropped blazer with a puckered jacquard, found at BCBG Maxazria last winter (I see they have it available in a cropped cloak this season).

Black Vince pumps are always a good idea and pair well with almost everything! They are especially comfortable as well. Back when I was doing pharmaceutical sales, on my feet all day walking through hospitals and doctors offices, these were my go-to shoe that could handle my long hours without sending me to a podiatrist after a days work.

I recently found these Alex & Ani Bracelets at Nordstrom’s and haven’t taken them off since! They are delicate and simple and just flow with whatever I am wearing. Since I’m expecting my first daughter in 7 weeks, I am adding simple jewelry to my wardrobe that is comfortable to wear all day. I love adding a little splash of color when I can and the purple beads match my rose gold watch that I wear everyday πŸ™‚

This outfit looks amazing on you! Stripes are always a good option. I love having that one pair of heels you can wear everywhere and still be comfortable in them. It’s sooo important!
