Adriana's Nursery - Styled For Paradise

Adriana’s Nursery

I’ve officially finished Adriana’s nursery!  I worked with Valerie Saunders from Serendipite Designs to help create the best nursery for my baby. I wanted a soft but contemporary room that was feminine but not over the top pink, so we went with a gray and soft blush theme.

Our house is beach contemporary so I wanted to make sure this style was carried throughout the nursery. I found almost everything I needed at the Land of Nod (Crate & Barrel’s Baby Store).  I am absolutely in love with the crib I found! It is white with acrylic slats, so you can see your baby sleeping. It is modern but still soft looking with the white wooden base.

The dresser and matching nightstand are finished with brass drawer pulls that give them a refined touch. I added a white changing table for the top of the dresser and a basket to hold her diapers and wipes.

One of my favorite pieces from Land of Nod is the Wheelhouse Bookcase that is powder coated iron. It is such a fun piece of furniture and matches the brass finish of the dresser. I loaded it up with gifts from my baby shower, including beautiful patterned swaddles by Masek Baby. They are awesome because they donate $1 for every blanket purchased to the Save the Children Foundation.

My glider was our biggest splurge on the nursery because I wanted to make sure I had a comfy arm chair that I can bond with Adriana in. I picked out an amazing soft pink fabric that totally reminds me of a Chanel suit! I’m sure I will be spending many hours breastfeeding, bonding, and hopefully, sleeping in this chair with Adriana. Hope you enjoy a tour of my nursery!

Your nursery looks absolutely amazing – contemporary with a touch of class. I love the pink glider too, looks so comfortable and pretty. You must have spend lots of effort to design and plan everything.
